We won’t beat around the bush—this sauce won first place in The Scovie Awards, and Sarah + Dirk really proud of this sauce, as they should be! Created by deconstructing traditional “big name” barbecue sauces, cherry-picking their favorite flavors and then eliminating common allergens (gluten, anchovies, Worcestershire, corn starch). We replicated and replaced them respectively with a carefully-chosen array of spices and locally-grown vegetables. Smoky, a bit spicy, with a lovely warmth from cinnamon and clove, this sauce is accessible to all BBQ fans while standing in a category all its own. From burgers to ribs to grilled chicken, use it anywhere you’d use your favorite barbecue sauce!
